Located in the heritage village of Marchmont, central Ontario, the artist's home/gallery and studio is ideally located for visitors and art collectors. Much of Dave's landscapes and still life subjects are derived from the area. Constructed of logs harvested from the surrounding area in the early 1840's, this building is one of the few structures of it's kind on it's original site in Ontario. Once a thriving farm community, named after the Earl of Marchmont, the village boosted a working griss mill until it's redevelopment in the past 10 years. A shingle mill was also located here on the quiet North River pond.
Be sure to bring your camera, the artist's creativity also shows in his flower gardens and ponds!
