Travelling for that just right image
" The subject for a new painting can be behind my country studio, on the coast of British Columbia or down a back street in San Miquel de Allende, Mexico. I find that being at the right place at the right time is a big factor...basically luck. The way the light reflects on a birch tree or the shadows casts across a snow covered field... Nature offers me many surprises and delights for my paintings in pastel."
